Archbold man sentenced for heroin


The following individual(s) were sentenced recently by Judge James E. Barber in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, according to Prosecutor Scott Haselman.

Justin P. Meyer, 34, of Archbold, pleaded guilty to, and was convicted of, possession of heroin. On or about June 25, 2016, he possessed heroin.

He was sentenced to three years of community control, and ordered to: pay prosecution costs and counsel fees; not consume or possess alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs; stay out of bars; successfully complete the SEARCH rehabilitation program; seek and maintain employment; and surrender his driver’s license for six months, with occupational and treatment driving privileges.

Failure to comply could result in 11 months in prison.
