A Fayette man was sentenced Tuesday in Fulton County Common Pleas Court to community control for misusing a credit card, according to Prosecutor Scott Haselman.
Clifford Canfield, III, 22, previously pleaded guilty to using an elderly person’s credit card on Jan. 11.
Judge James E. Barber sentenced Canfield to one year of community control and ordered him to: have no contact with the victims; stay out of bars; not possess or consume alcohol or any illegal substance; abide by an 11 p.m. to 6 a.m, curfew; serve 10 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, with credit for 3 days already served; pay a $250 fine; pay $15.14 restitution to one of the victims; and complete the Changing Offender Treatment Probation Program through Western District Court.
Failure to comply could result in eight months in prison.
