Colleges students honored


The following local students have received college honors:

Spring Arbor University, Michigan – Teresa Fletcher of Swanton graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling. Sara Rupp of Wauseon graduated with a Master of Arts in Education.

Mercy College of Ohio, Toledo – Spring 2016 Honor Roll: Kassidy Studer, Delta, Radiologic Technology, President’s List; Melissa Thomas, Delta, B.S. Nursing Pre-Licensure, Honors List; Eric Silveous, Metamora, Medical Imaging, Dean’s List.

Students on the Dean’s List must achieve a GPA of 3.3 or higher and be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours; Honors List, a GPA of 3.3 or higher and be enrolled for 6-11 or more credit hours; President’s List, a 4.0 GPA and be enrolled for 14 or more credit hours.

Goshen College, Indiana – Michael Walker of Archbold was named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete for winter and spring sports. Walker, a senior, plays baseball for the college.

The following students from Archbold are participating in Goshen College’s nationally recognized international study program, Study-Service Term this summer: Clara Beck, music, Peru; Caleb Liechty, sophomore, molecular biology/biochemistry, Senegal; Brodie Nofziger, sophomore, history, Cambodia, spring; Carley Wyse, senior, communication, Cambodia, spring.
