Fundraiser benefits Folds of Honor

The Delta Eagles will be hosting a Folds of Honor fundraiser on Friday, July 24 with all proceeds going to the Folds of Honor Foundation which supports families of injured or killed service men and women. The fundraiser will be open to the public, and the proceeds will supplement a golf outing on Sept. 5.

The evening will begin with a Hobo Dinner from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., or until the food runs out. Following dinner will be a mini-reverse raffle, 50-50 raffles, a Chinese auction, a mini-Bingo coverall, and Bar Bingo. Tickets are $15 each, which includes dinner and an entry into the reverse raffle.

Carl Burgy and Mike Meyers, both veterans, head up the Patriot Day golf outing on Sept. 5 at White Pines Golf Course (no prize money is paid out for the tournament; every cent goes to Folds of Honor).

Tim Churchill is the chairman of the July 24 fundraiser. For tickets or for information, please contact him at 419-822-3736 or by email at tkchurchill@roadrunner.com.

For the past four years, the outing has received national recognition for its efforts, generating more than $15,000 for the Folds of Honor.
