The Wauseon Board of Education approved several donations at its noon meeting on Thursday.
The donations included $500 from Jeffery and Brenda Thierry to the Michael Paul Thierry Scholarship Fund, $500 from Norma Tiffany to the John Tiffany Scholarship Fund, $400 from the Fulton County Catttle Feeders to FFA for the banquet, $211 from the WEA to the WES food pantry, and $100 from William and Marlo Hanak to the Sevenich Scholarship Fund.
Also at the meeting, the board approved one-year limited outside athletic supplemental contracts for Chuch Carr, varsity girls bowling; Kody Moden, Varsity girls tennis; Tony Schuette, varsity swimming; Landon Schaffner, seventh grade boys basketball; and for Alexa Short, eighth grade girls basketball, pending a clean background check.
The board approved a request for an overnight trip for the FFA State Convention in Columbus Thursday, May 5 through Friday, May 6. They also authorized the advertisement of bids for a transit bus.
Board members approved the VoIP service agreement between NBEC/NWOCA and the school district for July 1, through June 30, 2021.
