Safety City

Safety City, for pre-kindergartners, June 6-17 or June 20-July 1. Choice of morning class, 9:30-11:30 a.m., or afternoon class, 1-3 p.m. Children should be registered to start kindergarten Fall of 2016. Not necessary to be resident in Wauseon school district. Cost $25, paid with application by May 13; after that date, $30. Registration forms available at Wauseon Police Department, Wauseon Primary School office, Wauseon Public Library or by calling 337-7227.

Branch, limb pick-up

Two per month: North section, first and third weeks; south section, second and fourth weeks. 3rd weeks and in the south on the 2nd and 4th weeks. North and south sections divided by Norfolk and Western railroad tracks. Accepting branches and limbs no longer than six feet and three inches in diameter. Pile chunk wood not heavier than 75 pounds at curb. Only branches and limbs collected, not entire trees. Street sweeper Tuesdays and Thursdays. SAL breakfast

Saturday, May 7, 7:30-11:30 a.m., American Legion #265, 1105 N. Shoop Ave. All you can eat eggs, fried potatoes, French toast, sausage gravy and biscuits. Adults $7.50, children 9-12 $4.50, 8 and under free with paying adult. Hosted by the Sons of the American Legion.

Breakfast at Legion

Sundays, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., American Legion Post #373 at 5939 State Highway 109. Eggs, sausages, pancakes, biscuits, gravy with toast, coffee and juice. Adults $7.25, children ages 6 to 12, $4.50 and under 3 is free.

Bingo every Tuesday – doors open at 5 p.m.; lightning round at 6 p.m.; regular game at 7 p.m.

Mother/Son date
