One dollar of the cost of every car and truck wash will be donated to the fundraiser. Barbecue chicken dinners provided by the Delta Eagles will be available for $10 each. Tickets for the dinners can be purchased in advance at Delta High School, The State Bank in Delta, or at the event.
WXKR 94.5 FM and K-100 FM of Toledo will broadcast live and award prizes.
Tamara Bomar succumbed to pancreatic cancer two days after Christmas in 2013. One month later, Christ Bomar Sr. was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. After a two-year battle that included three major surgeries, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and numerous clinical trials, he died on Dec. 12, 2015.
The couple is survived by three sons, Dustin, 25, Chris, 20, and Nick, 16.
Proceeds from the benefit will assist the Bomar boys in covering the costs incurred from medical bills and funeral expenses, as well as their ability to continue without their parents.
