Traffic blitz scheduled

Deputies issued six citations during a Traffic Enforcement Blitz conducted April 1-9 by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. Five were issued for speed, and one for driving under a suspended license. Twenty-six traffic stops were made, and 21 warnings were issued to motorists.

The next traffic blitz, designated the April Prom Blitz, will be held April 16-17 and April 23-24 during various hours at various county locations in conjunction with the Pettisville and Fayette high school proms. Deputies will look for impaired drivers and violations associated with impaired driving.

The traffic blitzes are funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
