Wauseon woman sentenced for assault


The following individuals were sentenced recently by Judge James E. Barber in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, according to Prosecutor Scott Haselman.

Crystal Nofziger, 37, previously pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular assault. On or about July 8, 2014, she caused serious physical harm to another while operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

She was sentenced to 18 months in prison, and ordered to: pay any fees; pay prosecution costs and court-appointed counsel fees; and surrender her driver’s license for two years.

Jamie Rodas, 36, of Archbold pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. On Jan. 27, 2016, he recklessly caused annoyance or inconvenience to another by his persistent turbulent behavior.

He was sentenced to two years of community control, and ordered to pay a $100 fine and serve 30 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, with 26 days suspended and credit for four days served.
