WPL offers movie marathons, essential oil presentation


Kick off the Independence Day holiday with a Liberty Kids Movie Marathon and Craft Day on Friday, July 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wauseon Public Library. The Liberty Kids Movie Marathon and Craft Day are free and are open to everyone.

“Celebrate our country’s independence with the Liberty Kids,” invited Library Director Amy Murphy.

Essential oils

The Wauseon Public Library is sponsoring two Essential Oils 101 programs on Thursday, July 2 at 6 p.m. and July 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the library’s Reading Room. The programs are free and will be led by Cheryl Foltz.

Essentials oils have been used throughout history in many cultures for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Modern trends toward more holistic approaches to self-care and growing scientific validation of alternative health practices are driving a rediscovery of the profound health benefits of essential oils. Come learn what essential oils can do for you.

Summer movie marathon

Celebrate summer with a Despicable Me Movie Marathon on Thursday, July 9 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. followed by a Minion Make and Take Craft Day on Friday, July 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Wauseon Public Library’s Children’s Room. Both events are free and are open to everyone.

“Think yellow in July. Yellow…minions that is. To kick off the release of the latest minions’ movie, you’re invited to Minion Days at the library with movies on Thursday and crafts on Friday. Come get your minion on at the Wauseon Public Library,” invited Library Director Amy Murphy.
