Cub Scouts will go door to door in Wauseon on Saturday, March 5, to deliver yellow Scouting for Food collection bags. They are asking residents to fill the bags with non-perishable food donations.
On the following Saturday, March 12, Boy Scouts will collect the food bags. Residents are asked to place them by 9 a.m. on the front porch or near the front door in a spot visible from the road.
All food collected goes to local food pantries to help the local community. If a bag is missed during the collection, residents are asked to bring their donation to the Food Pantry collection box in the lobby at Christ United Methodist Church, 215 N. Fulton St. in Wauseon, during office hours.
