Donations continue to come in for the pool fund at Camp Palmer. Camp Palmer staff and board members said they are thankful for a $5,000 donation from Williams County Pork Producers and a $5,000 donation from Fulton County Dairy Association to the pool fund.

The new pool opened on May 31. Currently due to these donations, sale of memorial bricks and timber sale the pool loan has been reduced to $98,000.

4-H Camp Palmer, Inc. serves youth from 11 counties in northwest Ohio and many groups from across the state, Michigan and Indiana. More information can be seen on the newly updated website www.camppalmer.org.

Thousands of area youth are enjoying this new pool facility, which replaced the original camp pool built in 1957.

Two other pool fund raising events are planned at 4-H Camp Palmer: a Maple Syrup Brunch for Sunday, March 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a 5K Walk/Run for Saturday, May 21 at 9 a.m.

If your group or family would like to donate, call 419-237-2247 or email 4hcamppalmer@gmail.com. 4-H Camp Palmer is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Bricks ordered by March 20 will be installed by June 1.
