A Toledo woman convicted of theft was sentenced in Fulton County Common Pleas Court to three years of community control.
Kathy Nagypaul, 62, previously pleaded guilty to the charge. Between Dec. 10 and Dec. 19, 2014, she stole checks and cashed them.
Judge James E. Barber also ordered Nagypaul to pay a $250 fine; have no contact with the victim; serve 60 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, with credit for 43 days served; complete a theft education course; seek and maintain employment; pay full restitution to the victim; and write no checks.
Failure to comply could result in 11 months in prison.
