A taste of chili at Wauseon cook off


Many from the area came out to downtown Wauseon Saturday for the Chili Cook Off. Attendees were treated to kids entertainment, music, vendors and, of course, chili. Many from the area came out to downtown Wauseon Saturday for the Chili Cook Off. Attendees were treated to kids entertainment, music, vendors and, of course, chili.

The Wauseon Speech and Debate Team took home the People’s Choice first place award. Finishing second was Barber, Kaper, Stamm, Robinson and McWatters and NAPA was third.

Wauseon Chamber of Commerce won the Judges’ Choice award. The best decorated awared went to Barber, Kaper, Robinson, Stamm and McWatters.

The Police and Fire Departments tied.
