The Wauseon Downtown Association has announced the 2017 Christmas Parade Prince and Princess, who will be featured on its parade float this Saturday.

Princess Ellie Grisier, 9, is a third grade student at Wauseon Elementary School. She is the daughter of Ben and Arin Grisier. Ellie has two brothers, Chaz and Caleb.

She enjoys swimming, diving, bike riding, cheerleading competition, and camping.

“I want to be the Christmas Parade Princess because I love to ride in the parade and dress up pretty,” she said.

Prince Zenas Siefker, 8, is a second grade student at Wauseon Primary School. He is the son of Dave Siefker. He has six brothers and sisters.

Zenas enjoys playing board games, soccer, and video games. He loves to laugh and make jokes but he is very serious about the Titanic and learning about the weather.

He enjoys attending Crossroads church and prays diligently for his friends and the world.

The annual parade will begin at 7 p.m. at South Park. It concludes at the Depot with caroling, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, cookies, and hot chocolate.
