FFA students compete in career event

Last week, Fulton County FFA students competed in the Job Interview Career Development Event held at Fayette High School.

Students polished their skills in landing a job and launching a career. At the competition, each member submitted a resume, completed a job application, and participated in an interview by telephone, in person, one-on-one, and with a panel of possible employers. The divisions are by ages.

Division 1, freshmen: first place, Emma Fritsch, Evergreen; second place, Weston Ruffer, Archbold; third place, Zoe Castillo, Archbold; fourth place, Jaden Banister, Wauseon.

Division 2, sophomores: first place, Caden Colegrove, Fayette; second place, Zoee Keiser, Fayette; 3rd place, MaKenzee Sheely, Delta.

Division 3, juniors: first place, Myra Kuszmaul, Evergreen; second place, Cassidy Vanderveer, Fayette; third, Dustin Sutbleski, Evergreen; fourth place, Bradyn Ruger, Fayette; fifth place, Kayla Wyse, Pettisville.

Division 4, Seniors: first place, Gretchen Lee, Pettisville; second place, Ashley Garlick, Evergreen; third place, Adam Kinsman, Archbold; fourth place, Connor Johnson, Wauseon.

Division 5, first year member, junior or senior – 1st place, Autumn Ersham, Evergreen.

The district contest will be held at Ayersville, with the top two students in each division participating.
