In Pettisville, four are running for three spots on the board of education.

RICK GRABER, 51

Education: Bachelor of Architecture – Ball State University

Marital Status: Married (Deb), 3 children.

Civic Organizations: Pettisville Missionary Church, Pettisville Man Cave Ministries.

1. Why are you running for office? Our schools and the many people that work there have a significant influence in the lives of the students. I want our children to have the best learning environment and best overall educational experience possible.

2. Why should people vote for you? I will do my best to maintain and improve upon the strong values and integrity that the school was founded on.

3. What are your two main goals if elected? Guided by faith, principles, and services, I hope to work alongside our excellent teachers, coaches, staff, and administration to not only teach, but also lead, encourage and support the students at Pettisville.

4. Have you held office before? Pettisville School Board 2014-present.

BRENT HOYLMAN, 44

Education: Graduate of Pettisville High School

Marital Status: Married

Civic Organizations: Attend Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon, former member and president of the Pettisville P.A.R.C. Board.

1. Why are you running for office? To be a positive influence in the education of our youth.

2. Why should people vote for you? NA

3. What are your two main goals if elected? To continue the tradition of excellence in education that Pettisville Schools are known for.

4. Have you held office before? Pettisville School Board 2014-present.
