Delta man guilty of reckless homicide


A Delta man has pleaded guilty to reckless homicide in the case of a man who died of a heroin overdose.

Dale E. Silveous, 22, admitted to the third-degree felony in Fulton County Common Pleas Court. He sold heroin to Matthew Knierim, who overdosed and died Oct. 22, 2014.

Silveous also pleaded guilty to trafficking in heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

Judge James E. Barber ordered him to be referred to the Adult Probation Department for a pre-sentence investigation and report. Silveous remains on bond.
