Wauseon High School to present ‘Legally Blonde’

Wauseon High School will be presenting its spring musical, “Legally Blonde,” this weekend. Based on the hit movie, the musical tells the story of Elle Woods (played in different performances by Clarissa Johnson and Emily Legenza) as she enrolls in Harvard Law School to try and win back the love of her life, Warner Hunnington III (Brendan Wilson).

Under the guidance of her new friend Emmet (Aaron Spieles), Elle takes Harvard by storm, landing a key internship working for the infamous Professor Callahan (Payton Black) on the celebrity trial of the century. “Legally Blonde” is a musical comedy that teaches about the value of self-discovery and individuality in the midst of a world that expects conformity.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens.
